The INchrome Story
Every studio has a beginning.
Ours started with light reflected off metal in two different cities on the very same day.
On July 5, 2024, unbeknownst to each other, two friends, separated by hundredsof miles, each found themselves attending weekend photographic exhibitions. Different venues. Different artists. Different audiences
But on this day, both stopped in their tracks in front of beautiful photographs printed on the same medium: ChromaLuxe metal
There was something unmistakable about them an unexplainable visual pull. The overwhelming beauty. The dimensional detail. The richness of color. The depth of contrast. The way luminosity seemed to live inside the image rather than simply sit on its surface. Each stood there, studying the work, drawn in closer with every step. And each had the same thought: How is this possible?
As it happened, these two friends came from very different yet deeply complementary worlds. One owns and operates a large-format print company, grounded in the craft, mechanics, and precision of image production. The other comes from the world of marketing, music, photography, and art immersed in storytelling, visual culture, and the emotional power of imagery. Both understood prints. Both understood artists. Both understood the gap between what was seen on a screen… and what could be experienced in physical form
The very next day, a phone conversation took place. Before either could finish their greeting, the same question surfaced almost in unison: “What do you know about ChromaLuxe metal prints?” There was laughter. A pause. Then the kind of excited exchange that only happens when two people realize they’ve stumbled onto the same idea at the same time
They spoke about the exhibitions. The impact of the work. The way the prints commanded space. How they transformed photographs into objects of presence rather than mere reproductions. And then the conversation turned from admiration… to possibility. “We should create a boutique print studio. ”Not a volume lab. Not a commodity printer. A studio devoted to craft. A place specializing in large-format ChromaLuxe metal prints and museum-grade pigment printing built specifically to serve photographers, artists, and creatives who wanted more for their work than standard output. A place designed to help their friends in the creative community bring their images off the digital screen and fully into the world
What began as a shared moment of inspiration quickly became a shared mission. To build a studio where Images are treated as fine art. Materials are chosen for both beauty and permanence. Color is honored with precision. And artists are partnered with not processed.
INchrome was born from that conversation. But more than that, it was born from a belief: That when light, craft, and material come together in the right way, a photograph doesn’t just get printed It becomes something more. Something you can feel. Something that stays with you
